Sometimes known unprofessionally as “E.T. in the blonde wig”, Kinley was born and raised in the small town of Fritch Texas, where she had nothing better to do than use her imagination for entertainment. Growing up, Kinley would often watch films until the tape wore out (Including 5 copies of The Wizard of Oz) and would go outside with friends and make them recreate her favorite scenes. Little did she know, that would one day be her passion and career.
Kinley was always on the creative high wanting to play any instrument she could get her hands on or creating art pieces. It wasn’t until she joined the One-Act world of theatre in high school that her love for story telling was discovered.
Kinley joined Amarillo Little Theatre where she performed in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Little Women. During this time, Kinley auditioned for The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and was accepted into their two year conservatory program. Beginning her journey in the big city, Kinley trained with professionals from all over the globe where she grew as an actor and as a person during her two years of training. Her Academy Credits include Carol in Time and The Conways and Mary Warren in The Crucible.
After graduation, Kinley was accepted into the Academy’s prestigious Third Year Company where she continued her training at AADA until January 2020.
When Kinley isn’t acting, you can usual find her writing or playing with her cat Cosmic Creepers. Kinley is currently working with her friends to create shorts with their production company Shipwrecked Studios . Their first short ‘In The Bathroom’ is out now! Kinley’s first original play “Kerosene” had it’s first reading at The Theatre Lab in November, stay tuned for the next reading announcement!
